Women's Hoops Welcomes OBU, HSU in Weekend Action

DURANT. Okla. – Southeastern will be looking to shake off the icy weather and build on a thrilling rivalry victory when it hosts a pair of interstate opponents, first facing off with Ouachita Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 29 before following it up with a Jan. 31 contest versus Henderson State at 1 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 6-11 record overall and a 3-8 mark in Great American Conference play following a 64-62 overtime road win over rival East Central a week ago in its last action.
 
That contest saw Tori Kilburn turn in a career-high 27 points in the win as well as hauling in a career-best 13 rebounds.
 
Stevie Stinchcomb turned in 15 points and grabbed six boards while Kenzli Warden added nine points and 12 boards.
 
Overall on the year, Kilburn leads the way for the Storm with 18.1 ppg , while grabbing 6.5 rebounds and handing out 2.8 assists.
 
Warden leads the team on the boards with 6.8 rebounds per outing and is averaging 14.5 ppg on the season.
 
Stinchcomb is putting up eight points per contest since returning to the lineup, while Abbie Barr, Akiera Hawk, and Mackenzie Espinosa are all averaging around 6.0 ppg each.
 
Ouachita Baptist enters the weekend with a 10-5 record overall and a 7-4 mark in league play following an 89-56 win over Henderson State last time out.
 
The Tigers are led by Madeleine Tipton who is putting up 16.2 ppg, while Abbey Harrison and Audri Winfrey are pulling down a team-best 5.5 rebounds per game each.
 
Henderson State come in with an 11-4 record on the season and a 7-4 GAC mark following its loss to rival OBU.
 
The Reddies are led by Natalie Cardenas who is averaging 19.9 ppg on the year while Grayson Fairless is averaging a double-double with 11.5 ppg and 11.9 rebounds per game on the year.
