EDMOND, Okla. –
Isaac Villa logged four hits and
Ryan Kirk homered twice as Southeastern pounded out 15 hits on its way to a 14-12 road win over Central Oklahoma on Tuesday evening in Edmond, Okla.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 8-5 overall on the year heading into a three-game road conference series versus Southern Nazarene slated for Feb. 27-28 in Bethany, Okla.

Villa finished the game 4-for-6 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored.
Â
Kirk followed with a three-hit outing, two of them homers and the third a double, finishing the game with a team-best four RBI.
Â
Carter Olson also turned in three hits, homering once with an RBI.
Â
Austin Parker added two hits, a home run and a double, with an RBI.
Â
JJ Bush,
Logan Rose, and
Alex Showalter each picked up a hit.
Â
Rose drove in three runs on his double while Showalter added an RBI.
Â
Brayden Tambone got the start and tossed 2.2 innings and was tagged for seven runs on seven hits with a pair of strikeouts in a no decision.

Colton Clawson followed with 1.2 innings pitched, allowing four runs on five hits.

Brayden Phelps followed with two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and allowing a run.

Austin Hillebrandt checked in and tossed an inning, allowing one hit on his way to picking up the victory, with
Brock Zimmer coming on and tossing a scoreless inning of his own.

He was followed by
Juan Berrios who allowed a hit with no runs in an inning before Carson Abbot stepped in to earn the save with a 1-2-3 ninth inning.

Villa led off the contest with a home run and later in the inning Bush scored on a wild pitch to mount a 2-0 lead.

UCO cut that in half in the bottom of the first inning on an RBI groundout.
Â
SE responded in the top of the third as Kirk led off with a solo homer to stretch the lead to 3-1, but UCO found its answer in the form of six runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead at 7-3.

The Storm got back in motion in the top of the fourth with Villa doubling home a pair of runs before Kirk added an RBI double, closing the gap to 7-6.

UCO picked up a run in the bottom of the fourth to extend its lead to 8-6, but Showalter picked up an RBI on a fielder's choice in the top of the fifth to close to 8-7.

The Bronchos followed with a three-run homer int the bottom of the fifth and the Storm trailed 11-7.

Rose got the Storm back within one run with a three-RBI double in the top of the sixth to make the score 11-10, but UCO again picked up a run to edge out to a 12-10 lead.

The Storm got the offense moving again in the seventh inning when Kirk connected on a two-run homer, his second of the day, tying the game at 12-12 before Olson and Parker connected on back-to-back solo homers to take a 14-12 lead which would hold up as the final score.
