SPICEWOOD, Texas – Southeastern finishes its first event of 2026 in eighth place at the Jack Brown Memorial Invitational with a combined 36-hole score of 67-over 635. The Savage Storm turned in their best score as a team on day two, shooting 28-over 635.

The top of the leaderboard remained the same through day two, as Blinn Community College won the event with a 17-over 585. Angelo State and Texas A&M-International tied for second at 36-over 604, while Texas A&M-Kingsville slotted in at fourth with a score of 611. Cameron rounded out the top five of the event with a 47-over 615 score in fifth.

Carley Button paced the lineup in round two, as she was one of six players in the 55-player field to shoot par or better on the day. Button turned in an even par 71 with five birdies to improve on her first day score by ten strokes and complete the event 10-over 152 to place tied for 11
th.
Karen Kim finished just behind Button with a 36-hole score of 12-over 154 after recording a 7-over 78 on the second day.

Kaeli Drake improved on her first-round score with a 10-over 81 and finished with a 22-over 164 across the 36-holes. Following Drake,
Addison Oestreicher put her best round of the event on day two, shooting 11-over 82, three strokes better than her round-one score. Oestreicher completed the event with a final score of 25-over 167.

Meredith Reid fired in a score of 26-over 168 in two rounds of play after recording a 14-over 85. Reid saw her best play on the back nine of the Par 71 course, where she shot 3-over par with six pars.

Southeastern is back on the course again on March 2
nd and 3
rd  with the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational in Edmond, Okla., at the KickingBird Golf Club.
