EL DORADO, Ark. – Southeastern ends the first day of play at the Arkansas Collegiate in fifth with a score of 32-over 320 after one round.

Union (TN) leads the field of 12 teams with a 17-over 305, while Henderson State follows closely in second with a score of 19-over 307. Harding slots in at third through 18 holes of play at 21-over 309, and just ahead of the Savage Storm is Weatherford (+25).

SE has five players in the top 35 of the player leader, led by
Carley Button, who shot 5-over 77. Button got her round going with four birdies on the first six holes of play to shoot 2-under par on the front nine, and she would follow with an 8-over par back nine.

Addison Oestreicher fired a 7-over 79 in round one, and she would see her best play on the back half of the Par 72 course, where she shot even-par with a pair of birdies.
Karen Kim followed with a 9-over 81, scattering two birdies across the round.

Kaeli Drake and
Ally Richard finished one stroke apart from each other, as Drake recorded an 11-over 83 and Richard tallied a 12-over 84. Drake saw her best play come on the front nine, shooting 4-over par, while Richard put in her best score on the back nine, also shooting 4-over par.
