TULSA, Okla. – Through two rounds of play at the GAC Tournament, Southeastern remains in ninth place with a score of 68-over 636. The Savage Storm improved on their first-round score by eight strokes, turning in a 30-over 314.

No. 31 Arkansas Tech holds its lead through the second round at 26-over 594 after turning in the lowest round so far at the tournament (+9). No. 46 Southwestern Oklahoma State moved a spot into second with a score of 42-over 610, while No. 50 Henderson State also jumped one spot in third at 48-over 616. Two strokes separate the fourth-place and fifth-place teams, as Oklahoma Baptist is fourth (+51) and Arkansas-Monticello and Northwestern Oklahoma State are tied for fifth (+53).Â

Karen Kim led the blue and gold on day two, firing a 4-over 75 in the second round, and sits 19-over 161 through 36 holes of play. Kim began the second day with five straight pars and would shoot 3-over 38 on the front nine before seeing a 1-over 37 on the back half with three birdies, including back-to-back ones on holes 17 and 18 to end the round.

Carley Button and
Ally Richard matched each other on the day with a 7-over 78. Button following the round is 13-over 155, while Richard is 21-over 163. Both players shot 4-over 39 on the front nine and 3-over 39 on the back nine, while Button recorded a birdie on hole 16.
Meredith Reid completed her second time through the course, 12-over 83, bringing her to 23-over 165.

Rounding out the day,
Kaeli Drake carded a 15-over 86 and is 22-over 164 through two rounds. Drake began the second round with a 4-over 39 on the front nine, where she opened with four straight pars and later shot 11-over 47. Southeastern begins the final round tomorrow at 8:50 a.m. when Reid tees off from hole one at the Page Belcher Golf Course.Â
