Prior to SE... started his collegiate career at Wichita State where he redshirted... followed with a season at McLennan CC... 

High School... played for coach Chans Chapman at Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas… a four-year letterwinner... named all-district and hit .385 with 47 hits, 28 RBI and 15 stolen bases as a senior… his team was a state finalist both his junior and senior seasons…Also was a two-year football letterwinner.
