Ryan Quinn begins his 12th season in 2025-26 as the assistant men’s basketball coach for Southeastern Oklahoma State after joining in 2013.

Quinn has helped coach the Savage Storm to two regular-season GAC Championships (2021-22 and 2023-24), nine GAC Tournament appearances and two trips to the NCAA Tournament. As an assistant for Southeastern, the Savage Storm are 191-149and hold a 137-96 mark in league games.

During his time with the Storm, Quinn has helped develop 14 first-team all-selections: Urald King (2013-14), Taylor Smaller (2014-15), Anton Cook (2016-17), and Kevin Buckingham (twice), Adam Dworsky (three times), Ante Brzovic (2021-22), Jett Sternberger (2022-23), Brennen Burns (2023-24) and Kody Clouet (2023-24).
 
The 2023-24 season marked the second time in three years that Southeastern Oklahoma State claimed the regular-season championship. The Storm put together a 23-9 campaign and finished the year 18-4 in league games. SE was led by three All-GAC players, featuring first-team members Burns and Clouet and Honorable Mention honoree Kyle Leslie. Southeastern led the league in scoring with 85.7 points per game and topped the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 48.5 percent as a team.
 
The 2021-22 team saw the program’s first Great American Conference regular season championship after posting 24 wins overall and an 18-4 mark in league play. The team secured GAC Player and Freshman of the Year awards in Dworsky and Brzovic, respectively, while landing five players on the All-GAC team.
 
Quinn joined Southeastern after spending two seasons with Seminole State, where he began as an assistant and later took over as the interim head coach in his second year. While at the helm, he guided Seminole State to an improved season from the year before.
 
Before his two-year stint with Seminole State, Quinn spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach for Central Oklahoma. While at UCO, the Bronchos won the Lone Star Conference-North Division both years and the conference tournament in 2011. UCO also reached the NCAA regional finals in 2011.
 
Quinn started as a student assistant at the University of Oklahoma from 2003-08 under head coaches Kelvin Sampson and Jeff Capel.
 
A native of Chicago, Quinn received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and his master’s degree from Central Oklahoma.
 
Quinn and his wife, Katie (Puckett), have one son, Carter.
