Courtney Rogers became the Southeastern softball coach during the fall of 2016, stepping in after a stellar four-year career for the Savage Storm.
Rogers was a four-year standout for the Savage Storm and completed her eligibility following the 2016 season.
A native of Irving, Texas, Rogers, who played under her maiden name of Riddle before marrying over the summer prior to joining the coaching staff, played outfield for the Savage Storm between 2013-2016 seasons, playing in 190 games, starting 174 of them in her four-year career as the team compiled 151 wins, a pair of GAC championships and a third-place finish at the NCAA Finals. She was an All-Central Region selection in 2013 and earned a pair of All-GAC honors.
Rogers hit better than .300 for her career with over 150 hit, including 15 home runs, while driving in 122 RBI. She carried a .402 on-base percentage and is slugging .474 for her career. She is seventh in the GAC all-time in RBI.
She received her degree in health, physical education and recreation in 2016 and shortly after married her husband Logan, and the couple have a pair of kids and live in Durant.
