Dawn Eliserio joined the Southeastern coaching staff during the 2021 season and brings a wealth of expertise with more than a decade of coaching experience.
She served a pair of stints as an assistant coach at Sterling College in Kansas where she has also been an assistant professor since 2016.
Her latest stop was from 2017-19 while her first run was 2010-11.
Prior to that she was an assistant coach from 2006-2009 at Western Christian after getting her start with a 2004-06 stop at Ripon Christian School.
Eliserio is a 2003 graduate of Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, with a degree in education, where she was a four-year starter as a pitcher, earning three first team All-Great Plains Athletic Conference honors, a 2001 Regional MVP nod, and a 2003 Scholar Athlete award.
Over her four-year career she amassed 60 wins, 499 strikeouts, and carried a 1.98 ERA over 597 innings pitched.
She would go on to earn a master’s degree in education, curriculum, and instruction from Dordt in 2012.
Eliserio is married to Gabe Eliserio who is a member of the Southeastern football coaching staff and the couple resides in Durant, Okla., with their two daughters.
