Destiny Riddle

Destiny Riddle joined the Southeastern softball staff as a graduate assistant in the Fall of 2019.

In her first season with the club, the Savage Storm had jumped out to a 15-9 record to open the 2020 season and were 7-5 in conference play when Covid brought the season to a halt in mid-March.

SE was hitting .306 as a team when the season ended and were outscoring opponents 4.7-to-3.6 in runs per game, while the pitching staff carried a 3.07 ERA with five saves.

She did so on the heels of a decorated Savage Storm playing career that saw her earn a pair of All-Great American Conference honors ont he field as well as earning Google Cloud Academic All-American honors for her combined work on the field and in the classroom.

Over her career she started all 214 games she played in and finished as a career .316 hitter with 134 RBI, 96 runs scored and 39 doubles.

She also made 124 pitching appearances over four seasons, primarily in relief, and finished with 17 wins and a pair of saves.

Riddle is a native of Muskogee, Okla., and in 2019 received her undergraduate degree in psychology from SE and is currently working on her master's at Southeastern.
