Lauren Hayes joined the softball coaching staff in the spring of 2015.
 
She is a native of Durant, who wrapped her collegiate playing career at Langston where she led the team in home runs and RBI.
 
Prior to her time at Langston, Hayes spent one season at East Central and her freshman season at Division I Monmouth in New Jersey where she signed to play out of high school.
 
She returns to Durant where as a member of the Lions in 2010 was named the team MVP and Defensive Player of the Year.
 
Hayes completed her BS in health, physical education and recreation in the fall of 2014 at Langston.
