Lindsey Lacy joined the softball coaching staff in the fall of 2012.
 
Lacy, a native of Sherman, Texas, makes the transition to coaching after completing her playing career with the Savage Storm.
 
She was two-time all-conference honoree, earning first team All-Lone Star Conference honors as a junior and first team All-Great American Conference honors as a senior.   She was also an academic all-conference selection both seasons.
 
Lacy batted .344 as a senior, scored 34 runs and led the team with 24 stolen bases.
 
Lacy transferred to SE from North Central Texas where she helped her teams to a regional championship.
