Preston Ewing enters his second year at Southeastern Oklahoma State as the Assistant Communications/Creative Media Coordinator in 2025-26.
 
Ewing will be the primary contact for volleyball, cross country, men’s basketball, softball, men’s and women’s golf and tennis.
 
Before joining Southeastern, Ewing was the Sports Information Graduate Assistant at Henderson State, where he worked with volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s golf, softball and cross country for two years. Among his duties, he wrote previews and recap stories while also helping maintain stats and nominating student-athletes for awards.
 
While at Henderson, Ewing helped cover the women’s basketball team’s first GAC Tournament Championship and the men’s golf program’s first National Championship appearance. Ewing was on-site for both events and the 2023 and ’24 women’s golf National Championships.
 
A native of Dallas, Texas, Ewing received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Ole Miss in 2021 before earning his Master of Science in Sports Administration from Henderson State in 2024.
