DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern wrapped up a 2-0 day by posting a 3-0 win over in-state rival Cameron on Friday night in the final match of day one of the South Central Classic in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 4-2 on the year after SE opened the day with a 3-0 win over Mid-America Christian.

Southeastern will be back in action on Saturday as the South Central Classic continues in Bloomer Sullivan Arena, facing Maryville at 1 p.m. and Central Oklahoma at 7 p.m.

Against the Aggies SE opened with a 25-20 win after taking six of the last seven points.  In the second set the Storm held a lead for much of the match, leading 22-18 before CU scored three-straight to close within one, but SE would end the run and hold on for a 25-23 win.  In the third, Cameron jumped out to an early lead, but a five-point run moved the Storm out to a 15-11 advantage which SE would not surrender en route to a 25-28 win in the clinching set.
