Box Score DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern's woes continued as despite shooting over 50 percent from the field they were unable to snap their losing skid, falling to Northwestern Oklahoma State 75-67 on Saturday afternoon in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The loss is the seventh in-a-row for the Savage Storm who dip to 4-7 on the season and 2-4 in Great American Conference play.

SE shot 55 percent for the second-straight game and hit 50 percent or better form the floor for the fifth time this season, but gave up a season high 56.3 percent shooting night to the Rangers.

The Storm was also outrebounded for the second-straight game as NWOSU held a 32-to-23 edge on the boards, including a 10-to-5 mark on the offensive glass.

Southeastern held an edge in points off turnovers and off the bench, while NWOSU held a 14-7 advantage in second-chance points.

Urald King led the way for the Storm with 15 points and just missed a double-double with nine rebounds.

Taylor Smaller added 10 points in the effort, while
Darius Harris added nine and
Randy Peters chipped in seven.

Quinton Threadgill turned in five points and added a team-high four assists as the team dished out 19 helpers across from 15 turnovers.

King's nine boards were nearly half the SE total rebounds as the next closest mark was three.

Smaller hit a three of the game's opening tip and after
John Balwigaire added threes on SE's next two possessions, the Storm opened up a 9-2 advantage.

NWOSU would eventually tie the game twice, with the last coming at 18-18 at the 12:50 mark of the first half, but SE would use an 8-0 run keyed by a Harris layup and capped by a Threadgill three to take a 26-18 edge and hold on for a 38-32 lead at the break.

The Rnagers came out and tied the game three minutes into the second half. They would tie the contest two more times, the last coming at 45-45 with 13:49 to play before taking their first lead of the game.

That lead would grow to six points twice before the Storm whittled it down and tied the game on a Harris layup with 5:23 to play.

 The teams would trade buckets on the next two possessions each, but SE would be unable to take the lead as NWOSU would hit its free throws in the final two minutes to hold off a rally and hand the Storm the 75-67 loss.
