Urald King and shot 70.59 percent in the second half to pick up a 67-53 win over South Dakota School of Mines on Tuesday night in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 7-15 on the year heading into its final four games, all Great American Conference contests.

King turned in a double-double, his eighth of the season, adding 13 rebounds to his 18 points.

He scored his points on an 8-of-12 shooting night, while also adding a pair of assists and a steal.

He was joined in double figures by
Taylor Smaller who put up 12 points, all on threes, while also dishing out five assists.

Anton Cook also pitched in 10 points, while Daichi Tanuiguchi and
Quinton Threadgill each added nine and
Darius Harris chipped in eight.

SE shot 47.8 percent for the game, doing so predominantly on the strength of a 12-for-17 performance in the second half.

The Storm held slight edges in points off turnovers and points in the paint, while the Hardrockers cashed in on offensive rebounds with a 12-5 advantage in second chance points.

Southeastern did move the ball in transition for a 12-2 edge in fast break points.

King scored the game's first four points and despite SDM&T answering with a three, the Storm would never trail in the contest.

A 9-2 run answered their first bucket and SE built an eight point lead by the 10:00 minute mark of the first half.

The Rockers would whittle that back to one point at 13-12 with 6:59 to play in the half, but a Taniguchi three would answer.

Southeastern would push its lead back out to seven points before settling on a 24-19 lead at halftime.

The Storm scored the first eight points of the second half to take a 32-19 lead just 2:10 into the half and never looked back.

The Rockers would close the gap back to six point at 40-34 with 11:53 to play, but a 7-0 run would put the advantage back into double-digits for good.

SE's lead would grow to as many as 19 points after a Harris fast break dunk left the score 60-41 with 5:17 to play.
