DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern put up a nine-run inning in the fourth inning of game two to cruise to an 11-5 win over Oklahoma Christian, bouncing back from a 16-3 loss in game one of the double-header at The Ballpark in Durant.

The Savage Storm moved to 4-3 on the season heading into the Great American Conference opener which is scheduled for Feb. 13-14 at Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva, Okla.

Dylan Helms and
Greg Husnander led the way in the SE win, each posting a pair of hits.
Â
Helms and Husnander each added a pair of RBI as well, while
Jacob Soisson also drove in two, and
Brayon Colley, Coly Luman and
Logan Terwilliger each added an RBI.
Â
Keyton Jameson got the start and earned his first win of the season after tossing 4.0 innings and allowing four runs, three earned, on four hits with seven strikeouts.

Brady Colbert came on in relief and earned the first save of the season with 3.0 innings pitched while allowing a run on two hits with three K's.

SE took advantage of a two-out walk in the first inning drawn by
Cody Coats who went first-to-third on a Husnander single and then stole home to give SE a 1-0 lead.

The Eagles would tie the game with a run in the second and jump out to a 4-1 lead with three more runs in the top of the third.
Â
The Storm would answer in a big way in the bottom of the fourth, sending 14 batters to the plate in the innings and scoring nine runs with two outs.

Colley drew a one-out walk, moved to second on a
Collin Sefcik single and the bases loaded when
Corban Taylor drew a walk.
Â
Terwilliger would drive in a run on a sac fly to cut the deficit to 4-2.
Â
Kaleb Thomas would follow with a walk, to load the bases again, followed by a two-run Helms single to right which plated Sefcik and Taylor to tie the game at 4-4.

Coats would get hit by a pitch to load the bases for a third time in the inning and Husnander followed with a two-run single to right to open up a 6-4 lead.

One batter later Soisson would triple home Coats and pinch-running
Cody Luman to stretch the lead to 8-4.

Soisson would then score when Colley laid down a bunt single and moved to second on a throwing error.

Colley would later score on a passed ball and when the dust settled SE had opened up a 10-4 lead.
Â
Luman would add another run in the bottom of the fifth when Thomas scored on a groundout to third.
Â
OC would pick up a run in the top of the top of the seventh to make the final 11-5.
Â
In the opener, Helms collected two of SE's four hits, while Thomas, Terwilliger and
Chance Burcham each drove in a run.

The Storm used five pitchers, with
Nick Johnson getting the start and taking the loss after tossing 4.0 innings and allowing nine runs, seven earned, on eight hits with four strikeouts.

Jonathan Dailey,
Storm Griffin and
Cody Luman would combine to toss the final three innings, allowing a total of seven runs on nine hits with three strikeouts.

SE would get on the board first with a Thomas sac fly in the third which cut the deficit to 3-1.

The Eagles would post five runs each in the fourth and sixth innings and score in every inning but the first, while a bases loaded walk drawn by Terwilliger and a Grimsley RBI on a fielder's choice would drive in SE's final two runs in the sixth inning.
