DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern put six players in double-figures and matched its season-high point total in a 96-83 win over Henderson State on Saturday afternoon in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 15-7 on the year and 8-6 in Great American conference play.

SE was on fire in the first half shooting 51.4 percent from the field, led by a 20 point half from Emily Williams who shot 7-of-10 with a pair of threes.

Williams would finish with 33 points, her third 30-plus point game of the season, as well as a double-double by adding 10 rebounds.

Kaylie Baxter also added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Taylor Richards turned in a career-high 17 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field, while also dishing out a team-high seven assists.

Rachel Wallace and Olivia Potter each added 11 points, while Sa'Liesha Hunter chipped in 10.

Williams added five assists to Richards' seven and as a team the Storm tallied 20.

Baxter and Williams each had 10 boards, while the teams each hauled in 42 rebounds in the contest.

SE used a 16-2 run early in the first half to break a 9-9 tie and jump out to a 25-11 advantage before the midway point of the half.

That lead would bloom to as many as 24 points before a late HSU run would cut the Storm halftime advantage to 53-38.
