DURANT, Okla.  – Southeastern saw its woes continue on Tuesday when it dropped its fourth-straight outing in a 6-2 loss to Rogers State on Tuesday afternoon at the Ballpark in Durant.

The loss dips the Savage Storm record to 13-18 overall heading back into Great American Conference play on April 10-11 with a three-game series against Southern Arkansas, with senior day honors slated for April 11.

Dylan Helms and
Brandon Grimsley each collected a pair of hits to account for four of the team's six hits in the game.

Helms also drove in one of the runs as did
Chance Burcham.

Nick Johnson got the start and tossed 5.0 solid innings, allowing two runs, one earned, on six hits with a strikeout, leaving with a no decision.

Mathew benedict was saddled with the loss after tossing 1.0 innings in relief and allowing three runs on four hits.

Evan Sanders would toss two innings and scatter a pair of hits and a pair of K's, while
Cody Luman would finish the game with an inning pitched that included a pair of this, an unearned run and a strikeout.

RSU opened up the scoring in the third inning with an RBI single, but the Storm struck back with a Helms RBI single that plated
Kaleb Thomas in the fourth to tie the game at 1-1.

The Hillcats added another run in the top of the fifth, but SE answered with a sac fly by Burcham to score Grimsley and again tie the game, this time at 2-2.

It would be all visitors after that though as RSU added a run in the sixth, two in the seventh and one last run in the ninth to fashion the 6-2 final score.
