DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern survived a seventh inning Harding rally and got a
Keeshia Thompson walk-off hit to win the series finale 8-7 on Sunday afternoon to salvage a split for the day after dropping game one 10-1 at the Southeastern Softball Field.
The split moves the Savage Storm to 19-9 overall and 15-3 in Great American Conference play heading into a four-game series with Arkansas Tech March 25-26 in Russellville, Ark.

In the finale the Storm scored in every inning except the fifth, starting when they tied the game at 1-1 on a
Jordyn James RBI single in the bottom of the first.

Sydney Kramer would single home
Mykaela Wallace in the second and James would squeeze home Laramie Beak lint he third to take a 3-1 lead.

A two-run
Destiny Riddle double and an RBI Beal single in the fourth would double the score to a 6-1 lead.
Â
The Storm would stretch that to 7-1 when
Conner Harmon connected on a solo homer down the left field line in the sixth.
Â
However, things got a little hairy in the top of the seventh as the Bisons had four hits, three of which were home runs to tie the game at 7-7 after putting up six runs in the inning.

James would start off the bottom of the seventh inning with a single and
Ashton Adkins would come on to run for her.

She moved to second on a
Jessica Simmons sac bunt and scored from there two batters later when Thompson connected on a walk-off single to right center for the 8-7 win.

Beal finished the game going 3-for-4 while
Destiny Riddle and James would add a pair of hits each.

Destiny Riddle and James would drive in two runs each, while Kramer, Beal, Thompson and Harmon added one apiece.

Jessica Seay got the start and tossed 7.0 innings while scattering 10 hits and allowing five runs, two earned, while striking out six, throwing 157 pitches on the contest.

Destiny Riddle faced a pair of batters in the top of the seventh and allowed two runs on two hits.

Kramer and Simmons each turned in a pair of this in the opener, with Simmons driving in SE's lone run.

Destiny Riddle, Beal and Wallace each added a hit as well.

Emily Cudd got the start and took the loss after tossing 4.1 innings and allowing six runs, four earned, on 11 hits.

Riddle tossed one-third of an inning, facing two uneventful batters, while
Hunter Offill added 2.1 innings of work, allowing three runs on five hits with the lone strikeout of the game.

Ashley Moore would face three batters and was tagged for a run on two hits.

HU posted three runs in the second inning to take a lead which SE would never overtake.

The Storm got a run back on Simmons RBI single in the third to make it 3-1.

However, the Bisons would add four in the fifth and three more in the seventh to pull away for the 10-1 win.
