DURANT, Okla. –
Ty Hanson supplied the dramatics as Southeastern picked up an 8-6 walk off win in extra-innings in the series finale over Arkansas Tech, bouncing back from an 8-4 loss in game one on the day and earning tis fourth-straight conference-series victory.

The split moves the Savage Storm to 16-17 overall on the year and into a tie with Southern Arkansas for fourth-place in the Great American Conference standings with an 11-7 record in league games.

In the final SE had to overcome three deficits in the eight-inning contest, with the final one coming in the eighth inning when the Wonder Boys scratched out a run with two outs to put the Storm behind 6-5.

Logan Terwilliger would get hit by a pitch with one out and move to second on a balk.

Brandon Grimsley would draw an intentional walk to bring up
Ty Hanson who was hitting in the five-hold for
Greg Husnander who had started at catcher but was pulled for a pinch runner as the Storm pushed to get a run across in the seventh.

Hanson would then connect on a ball that cleared the fence in right-center field and giving the Storm an 8-6 walk-off victory.

Corban Taylor,
Tim Hunter and
Bryson Allen each had a pair of this, while six others had one each and SE held a 12-to-11 edge in total hits.

Hanson's three RBI led all hitters in the game, while Allen drove in a pair while
Dylan Helms and
Kaleb Thomas had one each.

Mike Wade got the start but was lifted after just 1.1 innings of work after allowing four runs on five hits before
Scott Brinkley came on in relief to face one batter.

Brady Colbert would come in to toss the final 6.2 innings of the game, throwing over 120 pitches to earn his fourth win of the season by allowing a pair of runs on six hits with six strikeouts.

Southeastern found itself in a 7-0 hole in game one after allowing a run in the second inning, followed by a five-run third and another run in the fifth.

Hanson and Hunter would draw RBI walks in the sixth and Allen would double home another run to cut the deficit to 7-3 after six innings.

Taylor would single home Grimsley in the seventh to close to within 7-4, but ATU would get a run in the top of the eighth and SE would be unable to push another run home in the 8-4 loss.

SE collected nine hits, led by three from Husnander, while Helms added two.

Taylor, Hanson, Hunter and Allen each had an RBI.

Scott Richards was held to his shortest outing of the season, tossing 2.0 innings and allowing four runs on three hits to take the loss.

Matt benedict followed up with 3.1 innings of work, allowing three runs, two earned, on nine hits with three strikeouts.

Bryce Clemson would retire the only batter he faced before
Michael Brinska came on to finish the game, allowing a run on five hits in 3.1 innings pitched.
