SHAWNEE, Okla. – Southeastern rallied from three different deficits over two games to sweep both ends of a double-header over Oklahoma Baptist on Friday afternoon, taking game one 6-5 and game two 9-6 in eight innings in Shawnee, Okla.

The wins lift the Savage Storm to 25-15 overall and 21-9 in Great American Conference play with the final two games of the series slated for a 1 p.m. twinbill on Saturday.

The nightcap featured
Keeshia Thompson connecting on a pair of two-run home runs, the second coming in the eighth inning to open up a three run lead for SE.
Â
She finished the game 3-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored.
Â
Jessica Simmons and
Ashton Adkins each added two hits, while five others had one hit each.
Â
In addition to Thompson's four RBI,
Conner Harmon added two while Simmons, Adkins and
Jordyn James turned in one apiece.
Â
All four Storm pitchers appeared in the game, with
Emily Cudd getting the start and going 3.0 innings allowing five runs, three earned, on five hits with two strikeouts.
Â
Hunter Offill allowed a hit in 1.1 innings, while
Destiny Riddle recorded two outs in three batters faced.
Â
Jessica Seay tossed 3.0 innings and picked up her 12
th win after allowing an unearned run on four hits with one K.
Â
SE allowed a run in the first and four in the fifth to fall in a 5-0 hole after four innings.
Â
Thompson's first home runs would cut into the deficit and make it 5-2.
Â
That was the score going to the seventh inning and with one out
Courtney Riddle drew a walk and moved to second on an Adkins single.
Â
Thompson would single to load the bases and James would connect on a pinch-hit RBI single to drive in
Courtney Riddle and close to 5-3.
Â
Simmons followed with an RBI single to plate Adkins and make it 5-4.
Â
Harmon would then put SE in front with a two-run double that scored
Mykaela Wallace and Thompson for a 6-5 lead.

However, the Bisons would pick up a run in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game and send it to extras tied at 6-6.

Courtney Riddle would get things going again, this time drawing a two-out walk.
Â
That was followed by an Adkins double which scored Riddle for a 7-6 lead, which was followed by Thompson's second two-run homer to take a 9-6 lead which would be the final.

In the opener Simmons and Kramer each had a pair of hits, while Kramer and Adkins drove in two runs each.

Seay got the start and collected the win after allowing four runs on five hits in 3.0 innings pitched with five strikeouts.
Â
Cudd tossed 4.0 innings in relief and allowed a run on four hits, while
Destiny Riddle faced one batter without recording an out.

OBU scored first and carried a 1-0 lead until Simmons was able to come around and score when Harmon reached on an error on her sacrifice bunt, and took a 2-1 lead a batter later when Harmon scored on a Kramer groundout.

OBU would get one back in the fourth to knot the game at 2-2.

Adkins would regain the lead for the Storm with a two-run pinch-hit double which scored
Courtney Riddle and Kramer for a 4-2 lead.
Â
That would not last long as the Bisons would get a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to take a 5-4 lead.

Kramer would play the role of hero in the top of the seventh, first singling to tie the game by scoring Simmons before coming around and scoring the go-ahead run on a wild pitch to make ti 6-5 which would be the final score.
