CLAREMORE, Okla. – Five turnovers in the final five minutes sank Southeastern's rally on Saturday afternoon in a 66-59 loss at Rogers State in Claremore, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 6-3 overall on the year heading into a 21 day break before returning to action on Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. against Tarleton State in Stephenville, Texas.

A total of 15 turnovers for the game turned into 17 RSU points.

Katie Webb and
Emem David each turned in 15 points, while
Sa'Liesha Hunter chipped in 10 points and Alix Robinson added nine.

Hunter dished out a team-best four assists and Robinson added three.
Â
David finished with a double-double, turning in 12 rebounds.

Southeastern took the lead out of the gate and went up by as many as six points before ultimately taking a 15-13 lead into the first break.

RSU responded with a 13-5 run to put the Storm in a 26-20 hole, but SE would trim the deficit back to 29-25 at halftime.

The Hillcats held the lead throughout the third quarter, going up 47-40 late before a Robinson three would make the gap 47-43 heading into the fourth.

Southeastern would whittle the deficit down and take a 55-54 lead with 6:36 to go on a pair of Webb free throws.

RSU would answer but a pair of David free throws would again put the Storm in front 57-56.

However, the Hillcats would score the next five points and lead 62-57 with 1:08 to play.

A hunter bucket would close the gap to three points, but that was as close as it would get with RSU scoring the final four points and handing SE a 66-59 loss.
