LAWTON, Okla. – Southeastern surrendered five runs combined in the latter innings against Cameron and fell victim to a road sweep, falling 3-2 in the opener and 8-4 in the nightcap in Lawton, Okla., on Tuesday afternoon.

The losses drop the Savage Storm to 4-4 on the year and they will be idle for nine days before returning to action on Feb. 16 against Newman.

Five different players each collected one hits in the opener, with
Symphoni Shomo turning hers into a double while
Destiny Riddle drove in a pair of runs.

Emily Cudd was saddled with the loss after allowing three runs on six hits over 5.2 innings of work, with Riddle recording one out in the contest.

Riddle drove in the game's first run on a squeeze bunt in the first inning, plating Shomo for a 1-0 lead.

The Aggies answered with a pair of runs in the fourth, but a Riddle RBI in the top odf the sixth would knot the score at 2-2.

However, CU would score in the bottom half of the inning and that would prove to be the 3-2 final margin.

Kennedy Salyers turned in a pair of hits in game two while six others added a hit each.

Marisa Fleck would drive in a pair of runs, while
Jordyn James and
Keeshia Thompson added one RBI each.

Ashley Moore got the start and tossed 3.0 innings allowing three runs, two earned, on four hits with one strikeout.

Riddle was hit with the loss though after tossing 3.0 innings and allowing five runs on five hits.

The Aggies jumped out to a 3-0 lead with a pair of runs in the first and another in the third.

Fleck would get SE on the board in the fourth with a sac fly, followed by back-to-back RBI singles by James and Thompson to knot the game at 3-3.

However, CU would regain the lead with a run in the fourth and double its tally with a four-run fifth to open up an 8-3 lead.

Fleck would single home Salyers in the seventh to fashion the 8-4 final score.
