DURANT, Okla. – No. 19 Southeastern bounced back after dropping two-out-of-three doubles to sweep the bottom two-third of the singles lineup and score a 5-3 victory over No. 29 Nebraska-Kearney on Thursday afternoon in Kansas City, Mo.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 10-7 on the season with the regular season set to come to an end on April 18 when they host Midwestern State at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.

The pair of
Kelian Bouteiller and
Mislav Colak snagged the team's lone doubles win by downing their opponents at the number three position by an 8-6 tally.

The Storm then mounted a rally in singles play, tying the match at 2-2 on a 6-3, 6-3 win by Colak at the four position.

UNK would briefly regain an advantage with a win at the one position at 3-2, but it was short lived as
Guillermo Pardos would battle back for a 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 win over Dustin Nguyen at the six spot.

Petar Popovic would pick up his own three-set win at number five to break the tie, taking down Joey Richards 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 to go up 4-3.

Bouteiller would clinch the Storm victory at the number three position after gutting out a 7-5, 5-7, 6-2 win over Mohab Alzanaty, sealing the 5-3 win.
