SHAWNEE, Okla. – Southeastern fell in an early hole it was unable to rally out of as it fell in the series finale at Oklahoma Baptist 8-3 on Monday afternoon in Shawnee, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 14-25-1 overall and 12-16 in Great American Conference play.

Cameron Roberts turned in a three-hit outing to lead the SE offense, while Cade Clay and Jett Swigart chipped in two hits apiece.

Four others added a hit each.

Hunter Harrison and Brett Akins each homered, with Harrison driving in two runs on the day and Akins adding the other.

Mike Wade got the start and took the loss after tossing two-thirds of an inning and allowing five runs on four hits with a pair of strikeouts.

Brandon Wolski would come on and toss the next five innings in relief and allowed three runs on five hits while striking out nine hitters.

Michael Brinska and Jake Patterson would each toss two-thirds of an inning and scatter a hit and two strikeouts.

Harrison would toss the final inning and allow a hit.

A bases loaded walk would open OBU scoring in the first as they would put up five runs in the inning.

A two-run Harrison homer in the fifth would cut the deficit to 5-2, but the Bison would add another run in the bottom half to make it 6-2.

OBU would stretch the score out to 8-2 in the sixth before Akins connected on a solo homer in the seventh to close it to 8-3, but that was as close as it would get.
