SEARCY, Ark. – A trio of fourth-quarter turnovers would prove costly as a pair of late Harding scores would hand Southeastern a 24-10 loss on Saturday afternoon in Searcy, Ark.

Â
Harding connected on a 28-yard field goal late in the second quarter with under a minute to go and would take that 3-0 lead to the locker room at halftime.
Â
SE's defense would force a three-and-out to open the second half, but a turnover on the first offensive play of the half would prove costly as the Bisons drove 68 yards on 13 plays, taking a 10-0 lead on a Cole Chancey five-yard run.
Â
The Storm would answer on the ensuing drive with a 66-yard drive over 13 plays before
Joel Carlos would connect on a 26-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 10-3 which is where it would stand heading to the fourth quarter.
Â
Southeastern would find itself backed up inside its own 10 before the Bisons would pick off a Kinsaul pass and convert it into a Chancey touchdown to open up a 17-3 lead with 6:53 to play.
Â
SE would start on its own 13-yard line on the ensuing drive and the turnover bug would bite again as HU picked off a pass at the Storm 26-yard line and Chancey would score his third TD of the day and open up a 24-3 lead with 5:21 to play.
Â
The Storm would look to rally though, marching 75 yards on its next drive, bolstered by a huge 35-yard pickup on 3
rd-down from Kinsaul to Kincade before Shavers would score from two-yards out on fourth down to close the gap to 24-10 with 1:58 to play.
Â
Southeastern was unable to get the onside kick attempt, but defense found an answer on the first play of the drive as Parker forced a fumble which was recovered by Dotson at the Bisons 43 yard line.
Â
Kinsaul would hit Kincade on the first play of the next drive for 29 yards to the HU 14 yard line, but was picked off in the end zone to effectively bring the game to an end.
