DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern men's opened Great American Conference play with consecutive wins, downing Harding 5-1 before following it up with a 7-2 victory over Ouachita Baptist in a weekend road swing through Arkansas.

The wins lifts the Savage Storm to 8-6 overall and 2-0 in GAC play, with SE winning three of its last four outings.

Carlos Anez and
Ondrej Nice opened doubles play against Harding with an 8-3 win at the top doubles spot, with
Matias Vargas and
Milos Vuckovic following up at the three position with an 8-4 win to lift SE to a 2-1 lead after doubles play.

Sandro Lena added a 6-3, 6-2 win at number three, while
Jeremy Despont pushed the lead to 4-1 with a 6-0, 6-2 win at the six spot.

Anez finished off the match with a clinching victory, topping Carlos Crisostomo at the one position 6-2, 6-3 to secure the 5-1 final.

In Sunday's weekend finale, Lena and
Danrich Kruger picked up an 8-3 win at the two spot, but Ouachita Baptist would collect wins at the one and three spots and the Storm headed to singles play down 2-1.

That would turn as SE would sweep singles play, beginning with Anez earning a 6-3, 6-2 win at the top spot.

Nice followed with a 6-3, 6-1 win at the two position and Lena checked in with a 6-3, 6-3 win at the three position to make the score 4-2.

Kruger would clinch the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win at the number four spot.

Matias Vargas would rally for a 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 win at the five position, while Despont followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win at the six spot to secure a 7-2 victory in the match.
