SHAWNEE, Okla. – Southeastern closed out the road portion of its 2019 season with a 3-0 loss at the hands of Oklahoma Baptist on Tuesday evening in Shawnee, Okla.

The Savage Storm will now head into the season finale on Nov. 14 when it hosts Southern Nazarene in Bloomer Sullivan Arena for Senior Night.

Hannah Grant led the Storm offense with nine kills, while
Caroline Griffith was next in line with six kills.
Â
Arabella Bouchard handed out 19 assists in the match and completed the double-double with 14 digs.
Â
Defensively,
Caitlin Cosby led all defenders with 15 digs on the match, closing the gap to just three digs between her and second-place on the Great American Conference career digs list.

Aleksandra Rodic added 10 digs, while Griffith paced the defense at the net with four blocks while
Paige Hawkins added three blocks.

The Storm forced bonus play in the first set, erasing a late 21-15 deficit with a 9-1 run to take a 24-22 lead. The Bison answered with three-straight points and would take five of the final six points to swipe the set 27-25.

OBU opened the second set by jumping out to a 12-4 lead and SE never recovered, dropping set two 25-13.

Southeastern used a 6-1 run in the middle of the third set to open up a 15-12 lea but it would not last long as the Bisons took 13 of the final 16 points to take set three 25-18 and take the match 3-0.
