DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern head coach
Tyler Fenwick has announced his first signing class at the helm, featuring 27 new members of the Savage Storm program on National Signing Day.
"For starting the job 3 weeks ago," said Fenwick, "Putting together a staff and hitting the road I felt like we put together a strong class that hit what we were looking for."
"Coach Heavner, our Recruiting coordinator and the rest of the staff did an excellent job of having the prospect list organized and ready to go which put us in a great position to get out to the schools and meet coaches and prospects both. We wanted to focus on length and speed on both sides of the ball and I felt like were able to address that with our incoming class."
SE signs 14 players on the offensive side of the ball and 12 on the defensive side as well as one special teamer.
The Storm stayed in state for five new additions from across Oklahoma, and will see 22 players cross the Red River to suit up in 2019.
