SEARCY, Ark – Southeastern opened its Arkansas road trip on the wrong end of a 3-0 loss to Harding on Friday night in Searcy, Ark.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 7-12 overall on the year and 4-6 in Great American Conference play heading into a Saturday matchup with Arkansas Tech at noon in Russellville, Ark.

Skylor Lewis led the offense with nine kills, while
Ruthie Forson was next up with six.
Â
Forson handed out a team-high 16 assists and chipped in 15 digs.

Grace Shehadeh led the defense with 17 digs for the match with Forson's 15 next in line while
Micah Stiggers checked in with nine.

Caroline Griffith and
Jadyn James each had one block.

The opening set was even through a 13-13 tie before the Bisons reeled off a 12-1 run to take the set 25-14.

The teams again played to a tie near the midway point, this time at 14-14, but HU would score the next three points and SE found itself playing catch up on the way to a 25-20 loss in the set.

The Storm fell behind early in the third set and rallied to close the gap to 21-18, but were unable to complete the comeback, dropping the set 25-18.
