DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern men's basketball will aim to carry its momentum into the new year when it embarks on its first Arkansas road trip, first taking on Arkansas Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 in Russellville, Ark., before rounding out the trip with a New Year's Day matchup with Harding at 3 p.m. in Searcy, Ark.

The Savage Storm come out of the Christmas break looking to carry on its current nine-game winning streak which has lifted the team to 9-1 overall on the year and 4-0 in Great American Conference play.

SE has won its last four games by double-figures, three of those coming against conference foes.
Â
Five different players are posting double-figures scoring averages for the Storm, led by
Jett Sternberger who is second in the GAC in scoring with 20.5 ppg while shooting 46.6 percent overall and 43.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Two others starters are posting double-figures with
Adam Dworsky averaging 14.5 ppg and
Kellen Manek adding 12.5 per contest.

SE also has one of the highest scoring benches in the league with
Ante Brzovic and Bobbby Johnson leading that crew. Brzovic is putting up 15.4 ppg while shooting 57.6 percent, while Johnson is adding 11.5 ppg while shooting a GAC best 51.0 percent from three-point range.

Brzovic leads the way on the boards with 9.2 rebounds per outing, while Manek is next in line with 7.5 per contest.

Dworsky continues to rank among the best in the nation t distributing the ball with 7.2 assists per game.

SE is averaging 87.4 ppg on the year and holds an average margin of victory of 16.0 ppg.

ATU enters Thursday's contest with a 5-5 record overall and a 2-2 mark in league play following a home loss to Southern Arkansas in its last outing.

Czar Perry leads the Wonder Boys with 16.5 ppg, while Tony Hall is the only other double-digit scorer at 11.2 per outing.

Perry also leads the team in assists at 6.8 per game, while Hall is hauling in 6.7 rebounds per contest.

HU enters the weekend with a 3-7 record on the year and a 1-3 mark in GAC play and currently riding a three-game losing skid, two of those coming in conference matchups.

The Bisons are led offensively by Taylor Currie who is putting up 18.7 ppg to lead a trio of double-digit scorers.

Stetson Smithson leads the team on the boards with 8.3 rebounds per game, while Ramiro Santiago is handing out a team-best 3.1 assists per outing.
