DURANT, Okla. – In February's first SE Check In presented by First Texoma National Bank, former Southeastern football player Ryan Harkness joins
Seth Dutton to discuss choosing the Savage Storm and playing football at SE before moving into a career in occupational safety.

Harkness came to Southeastern from Grand Prairie, Texas, and after a redshirt season in 2010 would go on to play 34 games over four season, earning 16 starts for the Savage Storm defense.

He is a three-time Academic All-Great American Conference selection and over his career racked up 63 tackles, 5.5 of them for a loss, as well as 4.0 sacks, eight QB hurries, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
Following graduation in 2015 he was able to immediately jump into the occupational safety field and is currently employed in the Dallas area.
