Â
An inning later SE would take a 2-1 lead on a Mahy solo homer.

After a pair of scoreless innings by both teams, Ore would plate Monahwee on a fielder's choice as she beat a throw to the plate for 3-1 lead.
Â
One batter later Durst would connect on a two-run homer to stretch the lead to 5-1.
Â
NWOSU would tack on a run in the top of the seventh, but the Storm cut off any rally and held on for a 5-2 win.

Brooklyn Field in the bottom of the first, and two batters later Streetman would single home Mahy and Wallace for a 3-0 lead.
Â
Lambert would get the Storm back on the board in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI single to score Streetman.
Â

Â
A Mahy sac fly later in the inning would drive in a pinch-running
Taylor Battiest to make the lead 8-0.
Â
NWOSU would get a pair of runners on in the top of the fifth, but Hedrick would come on with two outs and coax a fly out to end the game with an 8-0 run-rule victory.
