ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Southeastern found runs hard to come by on Saturday, dropping both ends of a Saturday doubleheader at Ouachita Baptist, falling 9-2 in game one and 6-4 in game two in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The losses drop the Savage Storm to 13-16 overall and 9-14 in Great American Conference play with the final game of the series set for noon on Sunday.

In game one,
Aaron Herrera and
Hayden Evans each homered to provide the Storm scoring, while
Colton Buckner and
Slayde Ortiz each posted two hits.
Â
Seth Morrow would supply the team's remaining hit.
Â
Jacob Potter got the start and suffered the loss after going 2.2 innings and allowing six runs on eight hits.
Â
KC Bryan would come on and throw 4.2 innings in relief and scatter three runs, two of them earned, on seven hits with five strikeouts.

Joseph Bishop would record the final two outs, facing two batters.
Â
OBU put up four in the first inning and tacked on a run each in the second, third, fourth, fifth and eighth to tally up nine runs on 15 hits.

Herrera connected on his homer in the fifth inning and Evans tacked on his shot in the eighth to make the final score 9-2.

In the nightcap, Morrow,
Blake McQuain, Ortiz,
Joseph Ramirez, and
Dylan Herd each had a hit.

Morrow's hit went for a two=run homer, while Ortiz and Ramirez each had an RBI.

Mason Whitmarsh got the start and took a no decision after tossing an inning and allowing three runs on two hits.

Dylan Turner tossed 1.2 innings in relief and was saddled with the loss after allowing three runs on three hits with two strikeouts.

Coby Langford would finish he contest with 3.1 scoreless innings pitched, striking out four and allowing one hits.

SE took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on an Ortiz RBI single that scored Buckner.
Â
That lead disappeared in the bottom of the first as OBU connected on a three-run home run.
Â
Morrow provided an answer to that however with a two-run blast that scored Herd and knotted the game at 3-3.
Â
An RBI double and a two-run homer in the third inning would put the Tigers back in front 6-3.
Â
A Ramirez RBI single in the sixth would score Herrera and close the gap to 6-4, but that was where the rally would end.
