SEARCY, Ark. – Pitching was on full display in the regular season finale for Southeastern as the Savage Storm came out on the wrong end of a pair of 1-0 pitcher's duels against Harding on Friday afternoon in Searcy, Ark.

The losses mean SE will finish the regular season with a 34-10 record overall and a 24-9 mark in Great American Conference play heading into next week's conference tournament set for May 14-15 in Bentonville, Ark.

In Friday's opener,
Amberlyn Walsworth allowed one run on two hits while striking out five while taking the loss.

Jaleigh Durst and
Augusta Duty each collected a hit as SE finished with two on the contest.

Harding would get on the board in the bottom of the second inning, taking advantage of their only two hits along with a Storm error to take a 1-0 lead.

SE's biggest scoring threat came in the fifth inning when
Kyia Monahwee reached on an error and moved to second on a sac bunt, but was thrown out at home for the third out while trying to score on a Durst single.

In the series finale, the team's played seven scoreless innings, with neither team advancing past second base.

Bailey Beard single would lead off the eighth inning for the Storm and a pair of sac bunts would move her around to third, however that is where she would end the inning.

HU reached base on a leadoff hit by pitch and used a sac bunt to move her around.

With runners on first and second a Bison single would attempt to score a runner from second but the throw from
Alexis Lambert would beat her to the plate, saving th4 run and recording the second out.

Unfortunately, the next batter would single home the game winner in a second-straight 1-0 loss.

Cheyenne Mahy got the start and tossed seven scoreless innings, scattering five hits and three strikeouts over those seven innings in a no decision.

Walsworth would come on in the eighth and allowed a pair of hits and a run in two-thirds of an inning of work while picking up the loss.

Kady Fryrear collected a pair of hits in the contest, while
Kamarie Wallace and Beard would each snag one.
