DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern closed out the home portion of its 2022 schedule on Tuesday night with a 3-0 non-conference loss to Quincy in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 4-24 on the year heading into the regular-season finale on Thursday with a road matchup versus Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee, Okla.

The SE offense spread the offense around, with four players logging at least six kills, led by
Jadyn James how picked up 11 in the effort.

Michera Moffett was next in line with seven, while
Ruthie Forson and
Jessica Hardin finished with six apiece.

Forson led the way among the setting duo with 14 assists along with her six kills, while
McKenzie Turkoly added 10 assists and picked up six digs.

Peyton Kriegel led the defense with 14 digs, while
Amaya Constantino added eight and Hardin chipped in seven.

At the net, Moffett logged a team-high three blocks.

In the opening set, Hardin turned in three kills to lead the Storm while Moffett, Forson, Mills, and James each had two as SE made a late push but was unable to close out a comeback in a 25-20 loss in the set.

James picked up four kills in set two which belonged to QU after three early ties and a pair of lead changes before a pair of runs would leave the Storm scrambling in a 25-15 loss.

In the final set, James put together a five-kill effort and was backed up by Moffett who turned in three as SE rallied to put some late pressure on the Hawks before ultimately falling 25-22 in the clinching set.
