EDMOND, Okla. – Southeastern rebounded on day two of its trip to the Edmond Regional Invitational with a pair of wins, first taking down Cameron 3-1 before closing out the weekend with a 7-4 win over Chadron State on Saturday afternoon.
 
The wins lift the Savage Storm to 9-6 on the season heading into the first weekend of Great American Conference play next weekend versus Harding.
 
Peyton Streetman led the way in game one, collecting three of the team's six hits, while 
Kamarie Wallace drove in two runs with 
Alexis Lambert adding an RBI as well.
 
Cheyenne Mahy got the start and tossed a complete game to earn the victory, allowing a run on three hits with four strikeouts over seven innings.
 
Wallace would bring home Streetman on a sac fly in the top of the first inning to take the early lead, but the Aggies would knot the game up with a run in the second inning.
 
SE would regain the lead in the third inning when Wallace squeezed home Streetman with a sac bunt, and Lambert would plate 
Marilyn Alvarado in the fourth to push the lead to 3-1 which would hold up as the final.
 
In the finale, the Storm collected 12 hits, led by three from Mahy, while Streetman, Wallace, and Lambert added two apiece.
 
Wallace would finish the game with three RBI, with Mahy plating two, while Streetman and Lambert added one each.
 
Amberlyn Walsworth would get the start and toss a compete game as well, allowing four runs, two of them earned, on seven hits while striking out six.
 
Chadron State struck first with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning.
 
The Storm would provide its first answer in the third with an RBI single by Wallace.
 
An inning later the SE would explode, sending 12 hitters to the plate, with Streetman driving in a run before Mahy and Wallace posted back-to-back two run doubles, with Lambert bringing in the final run of the inning with an RBI single to take a 7-2 lead.
 
CSC would pick up two runs in the seventh looking to mount  rally, but the Storm would hold on for the 7-4 victory.
