DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern men's basketball has had a pair of players pick up D2CCA All-Central Region honors, with
Adam Dworsky taking home first team All-Central Region recognition while
Ante Brzovic picked up second team recognition.

The Savage Storm finished the season with a 24-6 record after winning the Great American Conference regular season championship and have distinction of being the only team in the Central region with multiple players named to the all-region team.

Dworsky, a senior from Flower Mound, Texas, picked up the GAC Player of the Year award after averaging 17.7 ppg and leading the region with 6.8 assists per game. He shot 51.9 percent from the field for the season overall and 45.9 percent from beyond the arc and boasted a 3.06 assist/turnover ratio.

He also become climbed to fifth on the NCAA Division II career assists list with 884 career assists, finishing his career with the single game, single season, and career assists record both at Southeastern and in the GAC.

Brzovic, a freshman from Zagreb, Croatia, led the team in scoring with 17.8 ppg and averaged a double-double by pulling down 11.0 rebounds per outing on his way to first team All-GAC honors and earning the conference Freshman of the Year award.

Over the season he smashed the conference freshman record book, matching or besting marks in field goal makes, field goal percentage, total rebounds, rebounds per game, 10-rebound games, and total double-doubles.
