Bryce McDermott each drove in a pair of runs, while McQuain,

Â
Rice's solo homer would put the Storm on the board in the bottom of the second inning, but that was just the beginning in the inning as McDermott followed with a two-run single to drive in Gonzalez and French to take s 3-0 lead.
Â
McDermott would come home a batter later on a Herd triple, and Herd would push the lead to 5-0 when he scored on a McQuain RBI groundout.
Â
French would put a pair of runs on the board in the fifth with a two-run single to drive in McQuain and Morrow, stretching the lead to 7-0.
Â
A Ware RBI single in the sixth would push that lead to 8-0.
Â
The Rangers would score three runs in the eighth and three more in the top of the ninth to mount a rally, but SE would hold off the charge for the 8-6 win.
