SHAWNEE, Okla. – Southeastern got a pair of complete games out of its pitching staff but found itself on the wrong side of a pair of tough one-run losses at Oklahoma Baptist, dropping game one 4-3 before suffering a 1-0 loss in 11 innings in the series finale in Shawnee, Okla.

The losses drop the Savage Storm to 19-20 overall and 10-10 in Great American Conference play.

Amberlynn Walsworth tossed the opener and suffered the loss after allowing four runs, three of them earned, on eight hits with one strikeout.

Six different Storm hitters collected one hits each, with
Cheyenne Mahy,
Kamarie Wallace, and
Marilyn Alvarado each driving in a run.
Â
SE got on the board first with a squeeze bunt that plated
Peyton Streetman for a 1-0 lead.

OBU would answer with a run in the bottom of the first and two more in the third to take a 3-1 lead.

The Storm answered in the sixth, first on a Wallace RBI double followed by an Alvarado RBI single to tie the game at 3-3.

The Bison would get he final word, however, scoring on an error in the bottom of the seventh to swipe a 4-3 final score.

In the finale, Mahy turned in 10.1 innings of work and allowed one run on eight hits while striking out 11 in the loss.

Alexis Lambert, Alvarado, and
Bailey Beard each collected a hit but SE was unable to bring a run home.

OBU would score the only run of the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the 11
th to again swipe the contest, this time 1-0.
