DURANT, Okla. –
Jaleigh Durst provided walk-off fireworks in game one while
Amberlyn Walsworth and
Cheyenne Mahy each shined in a pair of pitcher's duels as the Savage Storm swept a Senior Day doubleheader, picking up a 2-1 win in nine innings in game one before finishing the sweep with a 2-1 win in seven innings in the finale at the Southeastern Softball Field.

The sweep lifts SE to 29-22 record overall with an 18-12 mark in Great American Conference play and pushes the current Southeastern winning streak to six games.

In game one, Walsworth tossed nine complete innings and scattered five hits, while allowing one run and striking out seven.
Â
Alexis Lambert posted three hits in the contest with an RBI, while
Kady Fryrear added two hits.
Â
Peyton Streetman, Mahy,
Kamarie Wallace, Durst, and
Gracie Ore each added a hit.
Â
Durst's hit went for a solo homer.
Â
SE got on the board in the fifth inning when Lambert singled home
Bailey Beard to take a 1-0 lead.

HSU would answer in the top of the sixth with an RBI single to knot the game at 1-1 which is where it would stand sending the game to extra innings.

In the bottom of the ninth, Durst would lead off the bottom half of the inning with a homer to left-center field to lift SE to a 2-1 win.

In the finale, Mahy got the start and tossed a complete game of her own in another pitcher's duel, going seven innings and allowing one unearned run on five hits with six strikeouts.

Mahy added two hits in the game on offense as did Wallace.

Streetman,
Marilyn Alvarado, and
Lauren White each collected a hit as well.

The Storm score both of its runs in the bottom of the first, with Streetman coming home when Mahy reached on an error, with Alvarado scoring later in the first on an errant throw on a Wallace stolen base, taking a 2-0 lead.

HSU would pick up a run on a single in the sixth but the Storm would hold on for the 2-1 win.
