RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Four pitchers across both teams combined for a third-straight pitcher's dual on Saturday, with Southeastern falling in 11 innings to Arkansas Tech by a 2-1 margin in the series finale in Russellville, Ark.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 30-24 overall on the year and 19-14 in Great American Conference play. SE will head into the conference postseason tournament as the No. 6 seed and will open play in on May 5 versus Harding at 6:30 p.m. in Bentonville, Ark.

Amberlyn Walsworth got the start for SE and tossed four innings, allowing a run on six hits with five strikeouts in a no decision.

Cheyenne Mahy would come on in relief and suffered the loss after allowing a run on three hits in six innings with six K's.

Mahy and
Kamarie Wallace each collected a pair of hits, with
Peyton Streetman,
Alexis Lambert,
Kady Fryrear, and
Gracie Ore picking up a hit apiece.

Lambert would drive in the team's only run.

ATU opened scoring with a run in the third, but Lambert would provide an answer in the fifth with an RBI single to plate Streetman and tie the game at 1-1.

It would remain there through the end of regulation and all the way until the bottom of the 11
th inning when the Golden Suns would get an RBI single to swipe the game 2-1.
