WEATHERFORD, Okla. – A trio of Southeastern errors proved costly as Southeastern allowed six unearned runs on its way to a 10-0 loss in the series opener at Southwestern Oklahoma State on Friday afternoon in Weatherford, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 24-12 on the season and 13-9 in Great American conference play with the final two games of the series slated for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.

Offensively,
Dylan Herd posted a pair of hits, while
Seth Morrow,
Matt Miles,
Cameron French,
Hayden Evans, and
Angel Ochoa each added one.

Jacob Potter got the start and collected the loss while being the victim of most of the damage done by the errors after allowing six runs, only one of them earned, on eight hits with one strikeout in three innings pitched.

Hayden Alexander tossed two innings in relief and allowed two runs on a hit with four strikeouts before
Dillon Bumgarner came on for an inning of work and was tagged for two runs, one earned, on one hit with a strikeout.

SE got runners into scoring position in the first inning but would not do so again until the seventh where it would leave a runner stranded at third.

SWOSU would get on the board with six runs in the third inning and add one each in the fourth and the fifth innings before putting up two in the bottom of the sixth to trigger the run-rule at 10-0.
