DURANT, Okla. –
Cheyenne Mahy opened the day by tossing her second no-hitter of the season in an 8-0 Southeastern victory in game one before falling to Southwestern Oklahoma State in the series finale 5-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Southeastern Softball Field.

The split give SE the series victory and improves the Savage Storm record to 22-21 overall and 13-11 in Great American Conference play.
Â
Mahy became the fifth pitcher in school history to record multiple no-hitters and the fourth to record two or more in the same season.
Â
She finished the contest with six strikeouts and the only batter to reach safely was hit by a pitch.
Â
Offensively for the Storm,
Peyton Streetman, Mahy,
Kamarie Wallace, and
Gracie Ore each posted a pair of hits, while
Jaleigh Durst added home run, while
Marilyn Alvarado and
Bailey Beard each also added one hit.

Durst finished the game with four RBI to lead the way, while Streetman, Alvarado,
Kady Fryrear, and Ore each added an RBI.

Durst would put SE on the board with a three-run homer in the bottom of the second inning.
Â
Fryrear brought home a run in the third on a sac fly, which was followed by an Ore RBI single and a Durst sac fly to push the lead out to 6-0 through three innings.

An Alvarado double would plate Mahy in the fourth and Streetman would provide a walk-off single to score Ore and trigger the run-rule for an 8-0 win in the bottom of the fifth.

For all the offense of the first two games, the Storm mustered three hits in game two, one each from Fryrear,
Lauren White, and Ore.

Amberlyn Walsworth got the start and was saddled with the loss after tossing seven innings and allowing five runs on 11 hits while striking out seven.

SWOSU would put up a run in the third and another in the sixth before a three-run homer for the Bulldogs, pushing their lead out to 5-0 which would be the final score.
