Â
The deficit would hit 10 points early in the third, but a 7-0 run capped by an Alverson three would make it a one possession game by the 5:13 mark of the third.
Â
A Scalice three with 3:25 to go would finally get the Storm over the hill and knot the game at 41-41.
Â
OBU would answer with four-straight points and ultimately take a 52-46 lead into the final quarter.
Â
The Tigers continued their run with the first eight points of the fourth quarter to lead by as many as 14 points by the 6:47 mark.
Â
A late rally by the Storm would narrow that gap to 65-59 following a Kobiske bucket with 2:53 to play, but that was as close as SE would get as OBU would score six of the final eight points to fashion the 71-62 final score.
