Chandler Dickinson dropped a team-high 20 as all five starters posted double-figures as Southeastern picked up a 90-78 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon in Alva, Okla.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 7-5 overall and 3-1 in Great American Conference play, while the Rangers drop to 3-7 overall and 1-3 in league play.

Dickinson turned in 20 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field with a pair of threes and added a 6-of-6 effort at the free throw line.

Jett Sternberger matched the 6-for-6 free throw shooting performance and posted a 5-of-9 shooting effort from the field to close the game with 17 points.

Kyle Leslie drained a trio of threes and
Kody Clouet hit 6-of-11 overall as both finished the contest with 15 points.

Brennen Burns rounded out the double-digit scoring with 10 points on a 5-of-8 shooting outing while dishing out a game-high six assists.

Ribert Briley nearly made it six double-digit scorers as he added eight points in the game.

Leslie and Dickinson also led the Storm on the boards with six rebounds each, while Briley added five with SE holding a 28-to-18 edge on the boards.

Rebounds were kept low as both teams shot better than 50 percent on the afternoon, with the Storm hitting 61.5 percent in each half.

Dickinson opened the game with a three and the Storm maintained an early lead over the first five minutes, taking a 10-9 lead near the 15-minute mark of the half.

The Rangers would take the lead three times as the teams traded buckets over the next couple minutes, but the Storm would put together a 5-0 run to take a 24-18 lead with 9:48 to play in the half.

NWOSU would respond with a 12-0 run to take the lead 30-24 with 6:09 remaining in the first half.

Southeastern would bounce back by finishing the first half on an 18-8 run, capped by a Briley bucket to end the half with the Storm in front 42-38 at the halftime break.

SE would push its lead to 11 points in the first 2:16 of the second half, but NWOSU would cut the Storm lead to seven points twice, the last with 15:03 to play.

Southeastern would reel off a 10-2 run between 11:11 and 6:43 to mount a 69-42 lead.

That advantage would peak as 20 points on a Clouet bucket with 4:46 to play.

NWOSU would outscore the Storm 22-14 over the final 4:40, but Southeastern would hit 6-of-6 from the free throw line in the final minute to preserve the 90-78 win.
