Briley Moon turned in a game-high 22 points on her own senior night, but it was not enough to lift Southeastern to a win in the home finale as the Savage Storm fell 78-72 to Oklahoma Baptist on Thursday night in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The loss drops SE to 7-19 overall on the year and 5-16 in GAC play with the regular season finale on the horizon on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Alva, Okla., versus Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Moon played all 40 minutes and finished the contest 7-of-12 overall and 4-of-6 for beyond the arc to finish the night with 22 points to lead all scorers.

She was also the leading rebounder for the Storm with seven boards and matched the team-best mark in assists with three.

Caitlin Kobiske turned in 18 points despite seeing her night end early due to fouling out, while she also dished out three assists and snagged a game-high four steals.

Abbie Barr also finished the night with 18 points while shooting 50 percent on her way to a new season-high point total.

Barr and
Grace Alverson would each chip in three assists as well.

OBU would score the first six points of the game, but SE would respond with an 11-2 run capped by a Barr pull up jumper with 4:44 to go in the first quarter which put the Storm in front 11-8.

The Bison would answer and take a 14-13 lead at the first break.

Southeastern opened the second quarter with seven-straight points, with another Barr jumper giving the Storm a 20-14 lead at the 8:32 mark.

OBU would close the gap and retake the lead, pushing its advantage to four points before a 6-0 run gave SE a two-point lead which would hold up as a 33-31 lead at the halftime break.

The Storm would open the second half on a 10-2 run to push the lead to double figures on a Barr three at the 6:23 mark of the third quarter.

OBU would close the third quarter on a 16-3 run, taking a three-point lead before a Moon layup before the horn closed that gap to 49-48 after three quarters.

The teams would trade buckets early in the fourth quarter, and SE would trail by one possession on a Kobiske three-point play with 5:44 to play which made the score 59-56.

OBU would then use a 10-3 run to take a 10-point lead with 2:32 to play, and a Storm rally over the final two and a half minutes would only close the final deficit to 78-72.
