SEARCY, Ark. – Southeastern would go 10 innings in the series finale against No. 18 Harding, but was unable to come out with the series sweep, falling on Saturday afternoon, 4-3, in 10 innings in Searcy, Ark.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 26-19 overall and 20-7 in Great American Conference play.

Sabetha Sands,
Kady Fryrear, and
Kamryn Rackley each logged a pair of hits, while
Marilyn Alvarado,
Iliana Olivares,
Ananda Garrison, and
Sammi Dutton added one each.

Reese Taylor got the start and tossed 6.0 innings in a no decision, allowing three runs on nne hits with three strikeouts.

Amberlyn Walsworth would come in and take the loss after throwing the final 3.1 innings, allowing a run on three hits.

The Bisons would get on the board with their first runs of the weekend on a two-run single in the fourth to take a 2-0 lead.

In the top of the following inning, a Dutton single would drive in Rackley to cut the deficit in half at 2-1.

Sands would follow with a single and a batter later Alvarado would double home Garrison and Dutton to take a 3-2 lead.

HU would strike back in the sixth with a two-out RBI single to knot the game at 3-3.

That score would force extra innings with neither team breaking though until the bottom of the 10
th when the Bisons would single home the game-winning run to take the matchup 4-3.
