ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – A fourth-quarter run by the home team would trip up Southeastern's push for a win as the Savage Storm fell on the road to Henderson State 75-69 on Thursday night in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 4-11 on the season and 0-9 in Great American Conference play heading into a Saturday afternoon matchup with Ouachita Baptist at 1 p.m. back in Arkadelphia, Ark.

Kenzli Warden would set a new season-high for the second-straight game, finishing with 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting.

Holli Lindley was right behind with 15 points, including a trio of threes, while
Caitlin Kobiske picked up 14 in the effort.

Aimee Alverson would add eight points of the bench while handing out a team-high four assists.

The Storm offense would hit 10 threes and shoot 40.0 percent from beyond the arc.

Lindley would lead SE on the glass with nine rebounds, while Warden was next in line with seven.

Lindley would drain a three to open the game, but HSU answered with a 7-0 run to take the lead early.

SE would respond and an
Eryn Dolan three would give them the lead briefly before the Reddies jumped out to a 12-8 lead at the midway point of the quarter.

The Storm would outscore HSU 13-8 over the final half of the quarter thanks to a pair of Lindley threes and another by
Kenzli Warden, taking a 21-20 lead into the first quarter break.

The teams would come out trading shots in the second quarter, but it was the Reddies who put together the first run, stretching a one-point advantage to a 36-26 lead thanks to a 9-0 run.

SE would chip away over the final four minutes, holding HSU without a field goal and using a 12-4 run to close the halftime gap to 40-38.

Kenzli Warden would kick off an 11-2 run for the Storm to open the third quarter, with SE eventually pushing its lead to 53-45 on an
Aimee Alverson jumper with 2:49 to play in the frame.

The Reddies answered with a 6-0 run, but another Alverson jumper would give Southeastern a 55-51 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

SE would get a Warden bucket to open the fourth and extend its lead to six points, but HSU would answer with a 13-2 run to take a 64-59 lead with 3:06 to play.

A Warden three-point play with 2:40 remaining would close the gap to just two points, but the Reddies would score 11 of the final 18 points, taking the game 75-69.
